Ali Nicholson, Assistant to President, Receptionist

Ali is the wonderful face of RuthiPostowStaffing, Inc. and assistant to Ruthi.  She had a tough act to follow (Rachel, who left us after three years to move to Denver), and Ali has more than lived up to the task. She has delighted all of us with the quality of her work and her manner.  Candidates, clients, and the staff give her rave reviews. She handles the thousand parts of her job and even manages to make it seem easy.

Ali came here from the small town of Mahtomedi (near Minneapolis) in "the land of 10,000 lakes" (Minnesota).  With Bear Lake in her back yard, she indulged her passion for wakeboarding and waterskiing the two months out of the year that the temperature rises above 60 degrees. In the winter she enjoyed Alpine skiing when it wasn’t too cold (in the winter it’s often 10 below zero, but it feels colder). She loves anything outdoors and active.

Never one to shy away from the hard jobs, as a student at James Madison University, Ali was very active in peer health education and CARE (campus assault response) 24-hr hotline, and carried a beeper to be immediately available to students who had been assaulted. She also gave presentations to raise awareness of sexual assault.  She graduated from JMU with a degree in Justice Studies of International and Global Policy and a minor in Public Health Education.
