Marcia Wheatley, Business Manager

Marcia is an accomplished human resources professional, who has served as the business manager for RuthiPostowStaffing, Inc. since 2005. She is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) by the Society for Human Resource Management.

At RuthiPostowStaffing, Inc., Marcia is responsible for the oversight of all office management activities, finances and business operations, including accounting, purchasing, payroll and office management.

Prior to RuthiPostowStaffing, Inc., Marcia had 14 years of experience as a human resources director, where she specialized in creating and organizing comprehensive programs in for-profit and not-for-profit industries.

Marcia is actively involved with The American Legion Auxiliary, the world's largest patriotic women's organization, where she is currently serving as the president of the Department of Virginia. Marcia has won multiple awards from the national organization for her work as a state chairman on various committees. She has been recognized by the Dale City Civic Association as their Citizen of the Year for her work in the community with children and veterans.

Marcia was born in the Canal Zone, Panama, where she was a third generation zonian. She is proud that her grandfathers were instrumental in the building of the Panama Canal — one operated the steam shovel. At the age of 15, Marcia's father retired as the lieutenant of the Fire Department for the Canal Zone and the family relocated to York, PA. Marcia holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Pennsylvanian State University.

Marcia and her husband Tom, reside in Dale City, VA, with their cat, Charlie.
