Established in 2001, RuthiPostow Staffing, Inc. has experienced exponential growth due to the loyalty of our clients. We plan for continued, but controlled, growth that allows us to maintain the close relationships we currently enjoy with our clients. Strong relationships are the foundation of RuthiPostow Staffing, Inc. and we seek to treat each client as a true partner.
- 2001: Ruthi Postow launched her new firm built upon her ideals and her reputation built over 25 years in permanent staffing.
- 2003: Jenni O'Toole joined the company as general manager, bringing seven years experience in staffing and management.
- 2003: They launched their temporary staffing division which immediately got attention for setting new standards in the industry.
- 2004: Jenni became a full partner in RuthiPostowStaffing.
- 2004: Revamped and improved the benefit package to include paid days off to do volunteer work of the staff member’s choice.
- 2005: Marcia Wheatley, SPHR, joined the firm as business manager.
- 2006: The offices were expanded and moved to the current K Street location.
- 2007: Added to the benefit package a 401 k plan with a company match that is still in effect today, and a paid sabbatical for every employee after five years.
- 2007: The RuthiPostowStaffing Scholarship was established with the intention of helping develop the next generation of business women.
- 2008: RuthiPostowStaffing was honored by Smart CEO Magazine as one of the Future 50, the fastest growing companies in the region, having averaged a growth rate of 35 % per year.
- 2008: RuthiPostowStaffing made a corporate commitment to the environment, starting by adding one new “green” practice every month.
- 2008: The first employee to take the sabbatical was sent to the Zig Ziglar seminar in Dallas.
- 2008: The RuthiPostowStaffing scholarship was awarded to a student at the University of Richmond.
- 2009: Mary Shaw joined the company as General Manager of both divisions, bringing 20 years of management and staffing experience.
- 2009: Ruthi Postow was among the “Smart CEOs” named by Smart CEO Magazine.
- 2010: the RuthiPostowStaffing scholarship was awarded to a student at the University of Richmond.
- 2009-2010: Continued community commitments with commitment to green practices, and holding fundraisers for environmental groups, and volunteering to work with local school students building organic gardens.
- 2010: The RuthiPostowStaffing scholarship was awarded to a victim of domestic violence through SCES.
- 2010: Ruthi column, Reflections on Business began appearing in the Washington Business Journal.
- 2010: Initiated an annual company retreat to refresh and build our team.
- 2010: Recognized as one of Washington’s 50 Best Places To Work by the Washington Business Journal.
- 2010: The RuthiPostowStaffing scholarship was awarded to a victim of human trafficking through Courtney’s House.
- 2011: It's our birthday! We are 10 years old in March.
- 2011: Ruthi continues as columnist for Washington Business Journal.
