I've long known that any

I am constantly looking for the next generation of leaders who
will take our company on to new heights! Thirty years ago, I came
to this business with very little experience, but a burning desire
to be successful in business and a willingness to do what it would
take to get there. All I had on paper were a college degree, a
couple of years as a middle school teacher, and experience as an
Avon sales representative during college. People gave me the opportunity
to prove I had the most important attributes—sales talent,
ambition, and leadership/management qualities. Now I run the company
I believe sets the standard for the industry. I'm happy to be able

It's been a great 10 years!!!
- 2001: Ruthi launched a permanent staffing service to immediate
success
- 2003: Jenni O'Toole came onboard and launched our temporary
division which set new standards for the industry
- 2004: Initiated policy to give our staff paid days off to volunteer
for whatever program interested them
- 2005: Marcia Wheatley joined us as Business Manager
- 2006: We moved to beautiful new offices on Washington’s
power street, K Street with larger offices to accommodate our
growth
- 2007: We added new benefits including a 401k plan with a company
match. *The match has been continued every year since
- 2007: Established the RuthiPostowStaffing Annual Scholarship to
help develop the next generation of business women
- 2008: Honored as one of the Future 50 fastest
growing companies by Smart CEO
- 2008: Launched a new “green” practice every month
- 2008: Instituted a paid sabbatical for all employees with five
years tenure, and sent Erin Wilbanks to Dallas for a Zig Ziglar
seminar series
- 2009: Mary Shaw came on as General Manager of both divisions
- 2009: Ruthi Postow was given the Smart CEO Award by Smart CEO
Magazine
- 2009: Held fundraisers for environmental groups
- 2010: Ruthi is writing a monthly column for the Washington
