When Amy joined
us in 2008 she
already had six
years of experience in
staffing on the temporary side,
which she quickly leveraged into success in permanent staffing. She
loves her new career. “There’s
no better feeling than making a successful match between a great
candidate and a superior company. Every placement feels
like the first! There’s no other profession where
you can feel personally rewarded for what you do everyday.”
Amy left
Dallas, Texas to come here
for college at
George Washington
University, and
never went back. Who would
leave and pass up her first job out of college – marketing and PR for
a French-owned
mini-bar company. “I
had alcohol miniatures with me at all times…they
were in my desk drawer, in my purse, in my car. If
you didn’t
know me you would have thought I had a little problem!”
When Amy’s
not working, she stays busy with spinning
classes, doing presentations
and mock interviews for women re-entering the workforce,
and mentoring high
school and college kids on resume writing, interview skills and
dress for success.
